The prisions act 1894 allows visit to civil and unconvicted cirminal prisioners. The act also requires that prisons keep a visitors book to record observations made by visitors. Visitors are accompanies by jail officer and an escort.

- visitors can visit all visitors and see all parts of prison.
- Visitors can speak to prisoners and also listen their complaints if any.
- visitors can’t instruct to jail officers.
- A visitor can speak to prisoner for a period of 20 minutes.
- A prisoner under trial can meet his legal advisors without other person presence.
