Bail (Sessions Court)

Bail is Procurement of release from prison of a person awaiting trial or an appeal. For this an application is submitted in the sessions court with valid reasons for granting bail. A security deposit is made by the person to ensure his/her submission at the required time to legal authority.

The Session Court has the authority to grant bail to an accused who is in detention under section 436, 437 and 439CrPC. The Sessions Court is responsible for handling matters related to criminal cases like murder, theft, dacoity and pick pocketing and many other criminal cases.
